To be completely honest, I have not had much time to interact with the guild part of the game. I found that part of the game very confusing so I decided to stick to completing the story line and upgrading what I can for my city. For me, the most exciting part of the game was defeating others soldiers to gain land and money. Reflecting back to the start of this experience, I can say I was totally wrong about this game. There are so many ways to use this game in education. I believe there are many social studies classes that can benefit from using online games to make learning the material easier. Another feature of the game I like is how the game was simple on the iphone and allowed people to navigate through the game smoothly. I would rarely play the game on a computer since it was hard to zoom in and out on the screen. I also did not like how small the logos were on all the buttons, it made it hard to pick the right button you want. With the game coming to an end, I would like to thank Dr. Degand for making this game a requirement for this class. I really enjoy the new perspective I have about online video games and how they can benefit learning.
